Steel Quality
A drawer's load-bearing capacity depends primarily on the quality of the steel used in its runners. Drawers of different specifications feature varying steel thicknesses, resulting in different load limits. When making a purchase, extend the drawer and apply slight downward pressure with your hand to check if it wobbles, rattles, or tips over.

Material Inspection
The material of the rollers determines how smoothly and comfortably the drawer slides. Plastic rollers, steel ball bearings, and wear-resistant nylon are the three most common roller materials; among these, wear-resistant nylon is considered the superior choice, offering silent operation during movement. To assess the quality of the rollers, try pushing and pulling the drawer with a single finger; it should move without any friction or noise.

Pressure Mechanisms
Key Selection Point: To determine the effectiveness of a pressure-activated mechanism, simply test it out! Check whether it operates with minimal effort and if the locking/braking function is convenient to engage. However, bear in mind that while these pressure mechanisms offer excellent performance, they typically come with a higher price tag.
